TRAINERS

How to choose an offline trainer you can actually trust

GameTools prioritizes open-source trainers and upstream releases. This guide explains what to check before running anything that modifies a game process.

UPDATED 2026-09-19
STEP 01

Prefer source code and active releases

A public repository lets you inspect history, issues and build instructions. A lone EXE on a mirror gives you none of that context.

STEP 02

Check scope

Prefer projects that explicitly target single-player/local worlds and do not advertise anti-cheat bypass or multiplayer exploitation.

STEP 03

Verify release against source

Download from the author's repository/release page. Compare release notes, version and file names instead of using third-party repacks.

STEP 04

Test offline with a disposable backup

Back up the save, disconnect the trainer before online modes and test one toggle at a time. If behavior differs from the README, stop.
